Colorado Springs     $112.08
Grand Junction          $125.09
Pueblo                        $130.61
Loveland                    $140.00
Glenwood Springs    $154.83
Gunnison                    $162.66
Greeley                       $163.10
Denver                        $169.88

“We’re fortunate to live in a relatively mild climate. This keeps our customers’ energy use a little lower,” says Tom Black, chief energy services officer for Colorado Springs Utilities.“And having local control helps keep our costs down. Most of the electricity used by our customers is generated at our own plants, and our energy buying strategies help maintain stable rates,” added Black.

ACCRA, a nonprofit research group based in Arlington, VA reports quarterly cost of living figures for nearly 300 cities in the United States.
