Springs Utilities invites customers of all ages to an Earth Day open house Saturday, April 21 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Conservation and Environmental Center, 2855 Mesa Road. Customers can learn how Springs Utilities protects the environment, and how they can conserve at home, through the following: - Children’s conservation game and coloring contest
- Free energy- and water-saving devices to take home
- Xeriscape class at 9 a.m.
- Guided Xeriscape Garden tours with our gardener
- Tours of solar panels with our photovoltaic expert
- Hybrid and biodiesel vehicles will be on display
- Free conservation information to take home
Food will be available for purchase.
