What: Colorado Springs Utilities invites members of the media to film/photograph as employee volunteers clean Pikeview Reservoir on their own, non-work time, to improve the appearance and surrounding environment for families and recreationists. Pikeview is an essential part of Springs Utilities’ water system. Volunteers will remove trash and cut weeds. Interviews will be available. Located on the popular Santa Fe Trail, Pikeview is well known for fishing, hiking and biking. When: Saturday, October 13, 2007 Time: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Where: Pikeview Reservoir, on Mark Dabling, south of Garden of the Gods Road, next to the J.D. Phillips Water Reclamation Facility.
