Utility service applications: To initiate an application, call Customer Contract Administration at 719-668-8111 between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday and provide the following information:

Payment of development fees: Customer contract administration is located at 2880 International Circle, Suite 210. Office hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Water tap permits: A charge is assessed for each connection of a service line to the distribution main. Water tap permits are issued only to a master plumber or licensed excavator. Please note the new permit process effective Jan. 1, 2008. To obtain a water tap permit, please provide:

Wrecking permits: Wrecking permits are needed prior to a demolition or remodel that requires removal of utility services. An $80 inspection fee will be collected for termination of wastewater.
Hydrant meter permits: To obtain a hydrant meter permit, please provide:
Location or number of hydrant to be used
Current meter certification and backflow device test (if you will be using your own meter)
$100 application fee
Temporary electric service: Temporary electric service may be rendered for construction needs, circuses, bazaars, fairs, concessions and similar enterprises.
To request temporary electric service, call Customer Contract Administration at 719-668-8111 between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
You will be billed monthly on a rate applicable to the particular class of service to be rendered.
A nonrefundable $130 will be billed to you to establish and disconnect service.
