One of our goals is to help our business customers be successful. To that end, we offer several different rate classifications to help you maximize operational performance. Our business rate sheet provides a summary of the most frequently used rate schedules. Depending on your business circumstances and utility use, you may also be eligible for some of our rate options. Our four-service rates compare favorably and are well below the national average. Compared to 16 western U.S. cities that Colorado Springs most competes with for economic development business, our rates are fourth lowest for small and large commercial customers. And for your employees’ homes, our residential energy bills in Colorado Springs were sixth lowest in the entire nation according to a third quarter 2007 cost of living report from the Council for Community and Economic Research. At your request, we will evaluate your utilities use to determine your rate qualifications. Any requested change to another applicable rate will be applied only to services used after your request is processed.
