Tips for all industries:

  • Install occupancy sensors that turn lights off when kitchens, restrooms and offices are not occupied.
  • Use Low-E glass on office windows to regulate heat gain.
  • Upgrade T-12 lights to T-8 fluorescents.
  • Install an energy management system that controls lighting, HVAC and other building components.
  • Put up posters of energy-saving tips around your facility to remind employees to do their part to save energy.

In addition to the energy savings, you can also earn a rebate for many of these upgrades.
