One of the energy management solutions we offer is a Fixed Price Options program for industrial customers to lock-in electric and/or natural gas rates. Each year, Colorado Springs Utilities offers a limited window of opportunity to sign up for Fixed Price Options. The 2007-2008 contract year deadline was March 15, 2007. Information regarding the 2008-2009 contract year will be posted in Februrary, 2008. While the Fixed Price Options program is available at a premium to your current Colorado Springs Utilities’ rates, your company is protected from fuel cost increases that may occur during the contract year. Customers in the following rate classes are eligible: - Electric Industrial Service Time-of-Day, 500 kW Minimum.
- Electric Industrial Service Time-of-Day, 4,000 kW Minimum
- Natural Gas Commercial Service – Firm (with annual usage of 46,000 Ccf or more)
- Natural Gas Industrial Service – Interruptible Sales
