LED (light emitting diode) lights

Would you rather spend your money on holiday celebrations and gift giving or on the cost of running holiday lights? You can stretch your money further by using LED (light emitting diode) lights.

Committing to energy efficiency is one way you can help protect the environment and put some more green in your pocket this time next year. As you're taking advantage of pre and post holiday deals, take a look at decorations for next year. By picking up some LED holiday lights -- and using them next year instead of those old mini lights you've had for ten years -- you can cut your electricity cost from an additional $15 in December to a mere 15 cents. You can't go wrong with savings like that.

Check out the details on holiday light comparisons get holiday light safety tips too. Watch this space every week for ways to save some green.
