How can you reduce your monthly bill and conserve energy? Our online energy- and water-efficiency profiles can tell you. These comprehensive reports provide you with reliable information about your energy use so you can make changes where necessary. And the best part – it’s absolutely free!

It only takes a few minutes to enter your information, and you’ll receive an instant profile.

Your personalized profile contains charts and graphs to help outline your use, as well as a breakdown of what habits are costing you the most money and how you can cut back.

To generate your efficiency profile,

  • Choose the energy-efficiency profile or the water-efficiency profile.
  • Enter at least one month of utility bill information from your records. Entering the last 12 months provides a more accurate assessment. If you don't have information from previous months, you can call us at 719-448-4800 to receive your usage information.
  • Answer a series of questions about your home’s energy and water consumption.

Simple as that. The data you enter in the profiles is saved so you can update or review the results in the future.

What kinds of questions are included?

  1. What is the approximate square footage of your home?
  2. What year was your home built?
  3. How many exterior doors do you have?
  4. What type is your main heating system?
  5. Do you have a programmable or clock thermostat?
  6. What type of water heater do you have?
  7. How many faucets have aerators?
  8. What year were your toilets installed?
  9. What type of outdoor watering system do you use?

When possible, your recommendations are linked to more information in an energy library, which provides information using easy-to-understand terms and illustrations. More than 60 categories are available to answer your questions or to help you learn more about different energy and water topics.

Once you review your profiles, check out our other online resources to learn some of the small steps you can take to make a difference for your bottom line and the environment.
