Customer Service Residential Business Community Environment About Us
Environment > Conservation - Residential > Water

As the only large Front Range city not located on a major river, Colorado Springs has built an extensive water collection and distribution system. Made up of 25 reservoirs and dams, more than 200 miles of pipes and four major pump stations, the entire system stretches through a total of seven counties.

Because of the lengths we must go to for delivering a reliable water supply to our customers, conservation of this precious resource is very important.

Rising reservoirs prove that our community's conservation efforts can make a big difference in our water supply.

Small changes can help you save water and money on your utilities bill. We encourage you to participate in our many programs designed to help you save.
