In The Adventures of Dakota Sandstone, students are challenged to write about natural gas. Content background
is introduced in each chapter, creative writing examples are presented, and internet links are available for additional
information. If teachers are using the "It's a Gas!" kits, students can be actively experimenting and
exploring natural gas processes in the classroom.
The goal of The Adventures of Dakota Sandstone is for students
to demonstrate their knowledge of natural gas
by synthesizing the content information into new, creative writing forms.
