COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS
The satellite system receives information
from creeks and reservoirs around the state 24 hours a day.
Computers, automatic control and monitoring devices work with
the satellite communications system so Operations Center Personnel
can regulate water flows, pressure and reservoir levels.
The Operations Control Center is located on Mesa Road in Colorado
Springs. Water system characteristics are watched 24 hours a day
to assure a sufficient quantity of water at adequate pressure
to meet your needs. Monitoring can also detect fluctuations which
might indicate leaks or system malfunctions.
