Our Journey begins northwest of Land of Leadville, Colorado,
about 200 miles west of Colorado Springs.

but some will go to the Aurora People of the North.
The water then flows through the Homestake Tunnel
-- over five and a half miles through
the Continental Divide to Turquoise Reservoir.

The Mt. Elbert Conduit then carries the water
