Are you aware ...
Toilets are by far the main source of water use in the home, accounting for nearly 30 percent of residential indoor water consumption. Installing a WaterSense™ toilet can make a big difference in your water conservation efforts. Qualified WaterSense toilets use between 1.1 and 1.28 gallons per flush, which can save you up to $43 per year in water savings.
Toilets that save
- By replacing older, existing toilets with WaterSense labeled models, you can save 6,900 gallons or more each year.
- EPA estimates that a family of four that replaces its home's older toilets with WaterSense labeled models will, on average, save more than $90 per year in reduced water utility bills, and $2,000 over the lifetime of the toilets.
