| Colorado Springs Utilities has one of the most reliable electric systems in the nation - bringing power to your home 99.993 percent of the time. However, power outages do occur. Most power outages are caused by unpredictable events such as lightning, equipment failure or extreme weather conditions. Customers on electric-powered life support systems are encouraged to make arrangements to prepare for unpredictable power outages.
Every once in a while, Springs Utilities must schedule power interruptions in order to perform system maintenance and repair. If you need to be notified in advance of a scheduled power interruption due to an electric-powered life support system, call our Customer Care Center at 719-448-4800 and ask about our Life Support Notification Program. |
