Project COPEWhether it’s a home-cooked meal or a warm place to lay their heads, our customers count on Project COPE to help when times get tough. Donations to Project COPE make a difference in the lives of so many families.

Project COPE is the only local organization that dedicates its entire funding to utilities payment assistance year-round.

"In 2017, Project COPE supported 2,508 households with $881,121 in utility assistance," said April Speake, Colorado Springs Utilities community liaison. "A total of 3,428 children resided within these homes and our support allowed them to remain stable and secure."

We work with 11 local partner agencies, allowing us to offer additional support, such as offering budget education to each client receiving Project COPE support.

"Our customers need help year around" Speake said. "We do see higher bills during the heating season which is now upon us."

Perhaps you're able to help someone? Project COPE provides utilities payment assistance to families and individuals struggling financially, regardless of income. Your donations are tax deductible and we match your donations dollar for dollar. Visit projectcopecs.org for more information.
