Help us create a bright energy future

by  Aram  on  2/15/2019

USAFA solar arrayEarlier this year I announced our efforts to create a new Energy Vision that proactively and responsibly takes on challenges never seen before in the energy industry.

We have been working closely with our Utilities Board and the Utilities Policy Advisory Committee to set forth a vision for Colorado Springs’s energy future that focuses on safe and resilient systems, competitive rates, clean energy and transportation, energy choice, responsible energy use and economic development.

This community is the foundation of our work and we are committed to the growth, vitality and quality of life in the Pikes Peak region. That is why we are now asking for your input.

I personally invite you to attend our Energy Vision Open House on Thursday, April 18 at our Leon Young Service Center, 1521 Hancock Expy., at 6 p.m.

Come learn about the transforming energy landscape as we continue to add more carbon-free energy and battery storage to our system. We also want you to weigh in on our draft Energy Vision that will allow us to better serve you by thinking differently, becoming more creative and embracing new technology.

Find out the various ways in which you can become involved in this process at csu.org/energyvision.

In service,

Aram Benyamin, CEO
