Colorado Springs is in a semi-arid, high plains environment where water is a precious resource. We support using water wisely across our region, state and community. We're committed to providing business customers with resources to help manage water use efficiently.
Implementing the new water-wise rules is one way we can responsibly and efficiently use water for the benefit of our community, neighbors and our rivers.
We offer a variety of resources to help you maintain attractive landscaping.
- Establishment permits and water allocation plans. Apply for an establishment permit if new sod, seed or landscape plants are being installed or consider a water allocation plan for greater sprinkler system scheduling flexibility.
- Watering recommendations. These resources and guidelines will help you maximize landscape health and reduce water waste.
- Sprinkler system improvements. If you’re concerned about your sprinkler system’s performance, consider having an irrigation specialist evaluate your facility’s sprinkler system.
- Rebates. Save on high-efficiency sprinkler system components and native grass conversions to offset the cost of improvements.
