We have finished work to install concrete and rock structures in Dry Creek in the Hunters Point neighborhood in northwest Colorado Springs.
This spring, we installed 11 sculpted concrete drop structures and 11 sculpted concrete cross vanes to help manage runoff and prevent damage from erosion.
The total cost to install these features was $1.7 million. This investment prevents damage to wastewater pipes ensuring reliable service and protecting public health as well as the environment.
We just finished work to revegetate the area with native grasses and reopen nearby trails.
We appreciate your patience while we completed this important work.
