Colder weather means higher bills

Freezing thermometerIf you think about it, your utilities bill is similar to your credit card bill. You get it once a month and, by the time you get it, you don’t really remember what transpired during the last few weeks that led to the total at the bottom. By the time the bill comes, you have to look back at the statement to remember what you bought.

The same is often true for your utilities bill.

The weather certainly doesn't feel like it lately, but spring is just around the corner. That means our annual water-wise landscaping classes will soon be here as well.

As a matter of fact, our first class is just 2 weeks away, March 7. The first few classes are devoted to spring lawn care and clean up. From there, we'll get into landscape designs, grasses, irrigation and more.

Take a look at the full schedule and make plans to attend the classes that interest you. There is no charge for the classes and reservations are not required. All classes are at the Conservation & Environmental Center at 2855 Mesa Road. We hope to see you there!
