Post-fire watershed restoration
After fires scarred the landscape, flash flooding poses a tremendous risk to life and property. In our region, flash floods often cause high rates of erosion resulting in infrastructure damage and large amounts of debris to clean up.

We are actively involved in post-fire watershed restoration to reduce the risks to infrastructure affected post-fire flooding. We would like to thank two generous contributors to that effort. One is the Denver Foundation's Colorado Fire Relief Fund that provided a $25,200 grant for developing the use of biosolid compost on revegetation projects in the burn area. The other is ForestWise LLC for their generous donation of "woodles," rolled wood-filled erosion control products we are using for hillslope stabilization and stormwater run-off control.
