Common questions

Can I still make a manual payment while enrolled in AutoPay?
Yes. However, making a manual payment will not cancel a scheduled AutoPay payment. If you need to cancel AutoPay, login to My Account, click Bill/Payment Options and select AutoPay, or contact customer service at 719-448-4800.

Will I still receive a bill?
Yes, unless you're enrolled in eBilling, you will still receive an itemized bill indicating the AutoPay withdrawal amount.

Can I use AutoPay if I have multiple accounts?
Yes. You need to sign up each account separately, but you can use AutoPay if you have more than one account.

How safe is AutoPay?
AutoPay is a safe, reliable way to pay your utilities bill. When you enroll in AutoPay, you authorize your bank to withdraw the amount of your bill from the bank account you designate and pay us directly.

What if my banking information changes?
Go online and update your banking information in My Account or complete a new form with the updated information and include the date required to activate your new account.

Do I need to send anything with my application?
Yes. In order to complete your request, your application must include a voided check (checking account) or voided deposit slip (savings account).

When will you begin to automatically withdraw my bill amount from my bank account?
Your AutoPay enrollment is complete when you bill displays "Automatic Bank Transfer is scheduled to occur on the due date." Until then, you should continue to make your payments as usual.

How will I know when the payment has been withdrawn from my bank account?
You can receive a notification by email and/or text 5 days before the payment is due and/or when the payment is posted. Login to My Account to enroll in My Notifications.
