For more than 20 years, with the help of our customers, we have been helping neighbors in difficult situations pay for utilities services through Citizens Option to Provide Energy, or Project COPE. The Colorado Springs Utilities Foundation works closely with not-for-profit organizations throughout the City to manage the program and administer funds to families in need. Project COPE is funded by donations from our citizen-owners. You can participate in the program with a one-time contribution or donations with your monthly utility payment. One hundred percent of the contributions help families and neighbors in the Colorado Springs Utilities service area. For more information call us at 719-448-4800.
