Water heater rebate

Water heating is the second or third largest energy use in homes and businesses.

  • If your water heater is more than 10 years old, consider replacing it with an ENERGY STAR® model for better insulation and efficiency.
  • ENERGY STAR® boilers are ~8% more efficient than the federal standard.
  • Heat pump water heaters are about twice as efficient as standard high-efficiency electric models, offering even greater savings.

Receipts must clearly identify approved equipment and must include:

  • Date of purchase
  • Purchase price
  • Make/mode
  • Quantity purchased

Your rebate application must be complete and must include an itemized copy of your receipt.

Rebate application must be postmarked no later than Jan. 31 of the following year to qualify for a rebate.
