We have finished improvements to the Flying Horse Substation by adding an air-cooled electric reactor to the system. This new equipment supports the increasing amount of power introduced to our system from present and future renewable energy sources.
This work at the Flying Horse Substation support the Sustainable Energy Plan's goals of accommodating the influx of power into our system while maintaining overall system reliability. This project facilitates our transition toward the use of more sustainable energy resources.
