Note: You will need your utility account number to make any payments. Some payment methods may take longer to process than others. Please make payments directly to Colorado Springs Utilities if services have been, or are currently eligible for disconnection.
1Check with your financial institution for more information about making online bill payments through its web site.
2A convenience fee applies to each payment. Colorado Springs Utilities does not benefit from this fee. Convenience fees are charged to the customer using a credit credit/debit card to cover the cost for the transaction. The alternative is to raise rates for all customers to cover the convenience fees for those using cards.

Online

We can send text reminders to you five days before your payment is due & when your payment is posted. Simply sign-up using the My Notifications section in My Account.

AutoPay

  • Location: Sign up online through My Account or complete and return the PDF application form.
  • Hours: 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
  • Payment types accepted:  Checking or savings account.
  • Payment fee: Free

Bank Bill Pay

  • Location: Online through your bank.
  • Hours: 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
  • Payment types accepted:  Checking or savings account.
  • Payment fee:  Free to process; however, a fee may be assessed by your bank.
  • Note: Many banks offer a bill pay program through their online system. Please check with your bank for their program criteria.

FreeCheck

  • Location: Log in to My Account to use the FreeCheck service.
  • Hours: 24 hours a day, seven days a week
  • Payment types accepted: Checking or savings account.
  • Payment fee: Free
  • Note: FreeCheck is a free payment service offered exclusively to our eBilling customers. If you would like to use the FreeCheck service, you must be enrolled in eBilling.

KUBRA EZ-PAY

  • Hours: 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
  • Payment types accepted: Visa®, MasterCard®, Discover®, American Express®, Diners Club, electronic check, debit card.
  • Payment fee: $1.85 for residential accounts; $5.85 for business accounts.
  • Note: Utility account number and mailing address zip code required to process payment. You may choose to pay online via the website, mobile application, text or email.  Pay now online.

Phone

  • Hours: 24 hours a day, seven days a week
  • Payment types accepted: Visa®, MasterCard®, Discover®, American Express®,  Diners Club, electronic check, debit card.
  • Payment fee: $1.85 residential accounts; $5.85 business accounts.
  • Note: Utility account number and mailing address zip code required to process payment.

  • Hours: Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Payment types accepted: Checks, cash, money order, cashiers check, gift certificate.
  • Payment fee: Free.
  • Note: Utility bill statement required. A copy of your bill is available through My Account.

Payment Drop Boxes

  • Location: Various. Search for a location.
  • Hours: 24 hours a day, seven days a week
  • Payment types accepted: Checks, money order, cashiers check, gift certificate.
  • Payment fee: Free
  • Note: Utility bill statement needed. A copy of your bill is available through My Account. Payment Drop Boxes do not accept cash. Payments typically post within two business days of receipt.
Self-Service Kiosks
  • Location: Customer Service Center, 111 S. Cascade Ave. (map)
  • Hours: Outdoor kiosk (East side of building) available 24 hours a day/7 days a week: Indoor kiosks available Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Payment types accepted: Cash, check, credit and debit cards
  • Payment fee:  Cash and check payments are free; $1.85 for card payments
  • Note: Utility account number required to process payment
