Performance
There are four Carol Mackie daphnes growing at the Xeriscape Garden. They have taken a while to become established, but have been outstanding shrubs thereafter. We used to think they required some shade and regular moisture, but have since found that the shrubs planted in full sun in a low water zone have done quite well.
Carol Mackie daphne is a great option for home landscapes. It occasionally experiences branch dieback in the Colorado Springs area, but this is not a widespread problem.
Maintenance
Minimal to no maintenance required.
