The new Star Ranch Pump Station will increase the reliability of our water supply for fire protection, improve water quality and reduce the risk of water outages. It will be located at the corner of Broadmoor Valley Road and Star Ranch Road.
When complete, it will serve as a critical piece of our water system, delivering drinking water to the planned Cheyenne pressure zone. The new pump station will serve about 12,000 customers.

The existing Lower Skyway Pump Station, constructed in 1948, is at the end of its useful life and must be replaced. The property for the new pump station was purchased in 1979 with the explicit intention of building a water pump station, as required on the property deed. The new pump station will be residential in scale, and the characteristics and materials used will be in a manner consistent with nearby neighborhoods.
