If business customers opt-in to the Energy Wise Plus rate, they are required to sign a contract and stay on the rate for a minimum of 12 consecutive billing periods.

Critical peak events
Critical peak events may be called at any time during on-peak hours (weekdays from 5 p.m. -9 p.m.). Only one event can be called per day. Events will last one to four hours with a maximum of 15 events per year.
Customers are not required to shut off power during a critical peak event. You can choose not to reduce or shift your electricity use during a critical peak event. You will be charged a higher rate for any electricity used during that time.
Customers will receive notification at least 24 hours before a scheduled event except in emergency situations. Notifications will be sent by email, text and automated phone calls. Customers can select to receive notifications via one or more of these channels based on their preferences.
