Rain sensor rebate

Up to $50 available, depending on model

We offer a $25 rebate for wired rain sensors and a $50 rebate for wireless models.

Rain sensors detect rainfall and communicate with your irrigation controller to delay or cancel watering entirely. These smart devices save water and can pay for themselves in one season.

This rebate is available to Colorado Springs Utilities residential water customers who have an existing sprinkler system. All rain sensor makes and models qualify for this rebate!

Still have questions? We can help. Email us using the link below.

Is there a difference between a wired or wireless rain sensor?

The difference is in name only. A wired rain sensor has a wire that runs from the rain sensor directly to the controller.

Wireless models have two components, a sensor unit and receiver that communicate with the irrigation controller.

Both types work well. The choice depends on your specific situation and layout.
