Galley Road Water Main Improvement Project

We have started a yearlong project to replace more than 4,400 feet of water main and add new lining to more than a mile of existing water main. This work will result in enhanced water quality and service reliability for the area.

Map of the Galley Road Water Main Improvement Project. The 1st phase stretches between Moffat Circle and Wooten Road. The 2nd phase stretches between Wooten and Babcock Road. The 3rd phase extends from Space Center to Powers. The 4th is the Powers intersection.Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead if this is their normal route. Through access will be maintained throughout the project, but our crews will be working in the roadway.

Project schedule

Phase 1: Moffat Circle to Wooten Road | July 2024 - mid September 2024

Phase 2: Wooten Road to Babcock Road | January 2025 - March 2025

Phase 3: Sand Creek to Space Center Drive | April 2025 - May 2025

Phase 4: Near Powers Boulevard | 2026

Please note that Phase 4 will not immediately follow Phase 3.
