Penrose Water Supply Project

Since 2023, we have operated temporary above-ground pipelines to continue delivering water in the area, which is not a sustainable long-term solution.

Together, the tanks will hold a total of 17.6 million gallons of water safely. The two tanks will be painted oregano green and will be built in the existing footprint of the Penrose Reservoir. 

We also plan to improve drainage and landscaping in the area by building a new stormwater detention pond[tooltip text="Approximately 112 feet by 74 feet in size"] and planting trees, shrubs and grass to help hide the tanks from view and blend into their surroundings.
